Create memories: Over a cup of coffee!

2019_writing!

New post.

Here I go...

I remember it was 3:33 pm on Wednesday 03-03-2017,

By finishing all my college work I came out, walked a few steps in dust towards the bus stand, one by one counting 120 steps finally I reached the bus stand to board the bus,

The bus was scheduled for the departure at 3:55 pm, the whole bus stop was filled with all kind of people, tall, short, black, white, blind, handicap and many more.

By looking at the faces of all individual unknowns, well-known crowded bus arrived my place on-time. The bus was crowded with all aspirants who are so eager to reach their home from Bangalore silk board.

I could hardly put my feet inside the bus, still, somehow I managed to get inside the overcrowded bus, with a fear of losing all my belongings like chain, cell phone, purse, and most precious watch and slippers.

As time lapse, fresh air started to enter inside the bus, I found space to turn around, and even got empty seats in a row to sufficiently accommodate myself with my college bag. I sat beside window looking at the amazing view of traffic jam, garbage dumps and pollution.

When it was 12km to reach my stop, the bus had only 8 members including driver, among them I saw a guy wearing white shirt, who was busy in chatting over cell phone, standing like a conductor even though seats are empty.

With generous heart, I went beside him …

“I follow my curiosities and see where they take me.”

Oh, what a coincidence that guy was once my college mate / my friend, with full the confidence... I unplugged earphone from his cellphone,

"Janam janam janam saath chalna yunhi
Kasam tumhe kasam aake milna yahin " started playing in volume 7

with a shock he looked at my face, I smiled and told him to unplay that song...

We started our conversation by finding the lyrics and proper English meaning of that beautiful song

"Forever, forever, forever, Walk by my side

Promise me that will meet me again"

Conversation continued,

I told him to sit first so that we can talk till we get down.

He sat beside me, his perfume smell striked my nose so hard that still I feel the fragrance in every bus I board thinking that he may be in that bus.

we remembered all our good old days, revisited past and shared future plans…

We were very good friends but our domain of interesr got changed so our bondage fade.

Meanwhile, we met so many special people in our life, so our focus and interest towards eachother distracted and shared with new passerby's of our life.

Now, by talking to him I regained back my memory, I recalled every single moment that I spent with him and thought how it all became a memory.

All emotions started to play music in their own rhythm with my feelings, the feeling started to flow with words in silence.

Finally with a pause,

We exchanged numbers...

When all words got over in traffic signal lights it was his stop to get down, he asked me to get down so that we can have a cup of coffee in Café coffee day!

“A lot did not happen as I refused to have a cup of coffee”

I told him that we can go some other day…

: He told me
“unexpected plans works, not the expected one”
: just get down

: I said NO

So, he said Ok Bye! By plugging in ear phone playing "janam janam janam"

And started walking, walking away with the same smile, same charm ………

Week passed, months rolled...

I didn't get a chance to meet him

Later he moved to UK on his office project… settled their !

Now it’s been long years, I just remember the day #special day have a bit of regret… for not giving my time for a coffee.
Now,
I have a debt over a “cup of coffee”

People say life is short, yes it is too short to full fill tiny little things,

And writers says… “ Everyone will disappear in their own way”

Yes, true… even though we stay under the same sky sometimes we never get opportunity to be with a person as we are now, to have dinner together as we wished, and to have a cup of coffee as we planned, eventually we forget _ we regret only with missed_moments.

We lose people in due course of time, we lose their presence around, we never get that opportunity, as life has to move on with a new set of passer-by’s who comes in our way…

On the crossroads of the future, most good friends lose themselves to an eternity of regrets. Most of us lose connections unknowingly thinking that it is only natural until we realize the deceit in our understanding and end up craving for something we put to rest a long time ago. Thus begins a morbid curiosity within our conscience.” ― Adhish Mazumder

“Never be too late to plan for a cup of coffee together, at least try to make a moment into memory”

“Never refuse little requests that come in your way to create memorable moments for lifetime”

“Moments are lost in the blink of an eye, but the regret can last for a lifetime.”

If you are late to create memories over ordinary moments then you regret forever for not creating something extraordinary one.
